Last week Thursday, 24th October, it was my joy to commission the new Kroo Bay Municipal Primary School. It was constructed with funding from Italian philanthropist Sustain for Life and implemented by the Sierra Leone Autistic Society with support from Freetown City Council.

I am pleased to share highlights of the commissioning of the school which aligns with FCC’s Transform Freetown – Transforming Lives 2024-2028 Development Plan regarding enhancing early childhood development, basic education, and skills training. It also supports FCC’s broader transformative agenda for upgrading informal settlements.

Special thanks to Sustain for Life, Sierra Leone Autistic Society and the Kroo Bay stakeholders for their collaboration on this amazing life changing intervention for vulnerable children!
