The Gender and Social Services Officer |Hawa D. E Kamulay

The Gender and Social Services Department creates and Staffs a Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Unit in the Freetown City Council building an understanding alone with local government institutions and civil society on social, child protection, gender, and disability issues and allow them to take leadership role and initiate action on social welfare, gender and children’s issues.

What We Do

The Gender and Social Services Officer coordinates and provides direction and guidance to the development on social welfare, gender, children’s and disability matters in the locality. We monitor, evaluate, and review gender related program activities to ensure that projects and programs achieve their results and objective.
