FCC Tree Giveaway on World Environment Day

On Friday as part of the World Environment Day Celebrations, FCC gave out over 1000 trees to residents in the city as part of the #FreetownTheTreeTown Campaign!
Freetonians young and old showed their appreciation for the gift of neem, cashew, tamarind (tombi) and moringa seedlings given to them as part of the celebrations. These trees will be planted in homes and communities across the city and they have been registered for follow up!
The #FreetownTheTreeTown Campaign aims to address environmental management, and in turn climate change issues, by creating greener spaces within the city.
