Mayor Yvonne engaged with Masada and their partner The Waste Transformer (TWT), Netherland on a waste to energy project.
The Pilot Project, which is a sustainable development initiative, will target the installation of Waste Digester at the Aberdeen Women’s Centre.
This project will commence in the next few weeks. Waste will be collected from residence around the location such as organic waste, mainly food waste, and it will be deposited into the waste digester.
This will help greatly in terms of sustainable power supply as it will generate electricity and heat that will be use to support the operations of the clinic.
