Freetown – 22nd August, 2018 – The Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, will be speaking on a panel at the World Meeting of Families on Thursday 23rd August, 2018 on the topic: Faith, Family and Development, The Witness of Women in Leadership’ in the Irish capital, Dublin.
Over 37,000 people from around the world are expected to attend the event, which will close with a Mass led by Pope Francis on Sunday 26th August.

During the course of the Mayor’s visit, she will also meet the Lord Mayor of Dublin and the Africa Director at the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
