The Procurement Officer ensures that all procuring entities establish procurement units with persons trained and knowledgeable in procurement and charged with carrying out, on an ongoing basis, functions related to procurement.

What We Do

The department develops, implement and review the City Council’s Procurement Strategy and associated policies and procedures, to take account of current and emerging national procurement best practices.
