EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE RENTAL OF FREETOWN CITY COUNCIL’S ROOF-GARDEN, SKY LOUNGE RESTAURANT WITH FITTED KITCHEN AND TEN HOTEL ROOMS (FCC/ADMIN/RFP/2021/003)
Freetown City Council (FCC) is delighted to announce that construction of the new Freetown City Hall is approaching completion.
Dominating Freetown’s skyline at 15 stories tall, the City Hall is an ultra-modern complex in the heart of the City’s Central Business District. Whilst its primary purpose is to serve the Office of the Mayor and the Council’s Administration, the complex will also offer some of the best hospitality and entertainment facilities available in the country, in addition to high grade office space, conference and learning facilities and car-parking.
FCC is offering a roof-garden, Skylounge Restaurant with fitted kitchen and ten hotel rooms for rent. Situated over three floors (including the roof-garden), these facilities are best used as a single entity, operating as a high-end boutique hotel and restaurant. The facilities have some of the finest views in Freetown, with a state-of-the-art fitted kitchen and space to serve at least 100 covers. The ten hotel rooms are all en-suite. 4 rooms are designated 5 Star executive suites, with increased floor space and balconies.
The Selection Process
The Freetown City Council now invites firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide a Submission which will include a statement of capability and experience indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar assignments, availability of appropriate skills and staff, etc). Those firms that prequalify will then be sent a detailed RfP which will require them to submit a Technical Submission and a Financial Submission.
All EoIs must also be accompanied by:
- A Valid Business Registration Certificate
- A Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- A Valid NaSSIT Certificate
- A Valid Local Council Certificate
Written expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by not later than 2:00 hours February 5th 2021.
