Neighbourhood Upgrade of Moyiba, Coconut Farm and Rokupa: Safeguards Documents
Read and download the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and the Resettlement Plan (RP) for the Resilient Urban Sierra Leone Project.
About these documents
These reports cover planned drainage, road, walkway, street lighting and water and sanitation works in Moyiba, Coconut Farm, Portee-Rokupa and Bai Bureh, funded by the World Bank under the Resilient Urban Sierra Leone Project (RUSLP). They are published so that residents, affected households and other interested people can read them and respond.
The ESIA describes how the works may affect people and the environment and how those effects will be managed. The Resettlement Plan explains how people and businesses affected by land or asset loss will be consulted, compensated and supported.
