As a result, one of the key targets and initiatives within the Transform Freetown plan is to reform the property tax and business licensing system to make it fairer and to increase compliance: for more detail see here. This reform and the extensive data collection which underpins it will be completed by end of 2019 and demands on the basis of the new system will be issued early 2020.
