On Friday, November 5th, a loaded fuel tanker exploded in a densely populated suburb of Freetown and engulfed hundreds in flames. At least 101 people were killed and 91 were injured. Many survivors suffered full-body, third-degree burns and will need significant medical care for months to come, and numerous families abruptly lost their primary source of income.
