Freetown City Council launches the Cleanest Zone Award in Freetown Campaign.

Who: The Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr
What: Freetown City Council will launch its cleanest zone in Freetown award (as one of the initiatives under the umbrella of the Sanitation Working Group). This award will motivate communities to carry the spirit of National Cleaning Day into everyday life and ensure that they properly dispose of their waste.
When: Wednesday, October, 10th, 2018 (1:15 PM to 2:15PM).
Where: Kroo Bay Community Center, Kroo Bay. Speakers will include: UNICEF, CRS, District Medical Officer (DHMT), Director of Disaster Management (ONS), Mayor of Freetown. An update on the impact of the Flood Mitigation Plan will be given by Sulaiman Parker, The Environmental, Health and Sanitation Officer, FCC.
