This Development Planning and Management, Department of the Freetown City Council is charged with the responsibility to ensure effective coordination, monitoring and evaluation of all planning activities of the Council.

What We Do

The Development Planning Officer prepares and processes statutory planning documents, applications, and development permit applications and ensures application timelines and statutory requirements are met.

Who We Are

The Department ensures that the plans conform to the National Development goals as contained in the Agenda for Change Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper 2.
