Chief Administrator | Festus Kallay

The Department of the Freetown City Council (FCC) Administration ensures the efficient performance of all departments within the FCC. The department supervises and coordinates the activities of the other staff and Departments of the local council.

What we do

The Chief Administrative Officer is responsible for financial and other resource management and the day to day administration of the local council. The department is responsible for the implementation of all lawful decisions of the local council, assist and advice the chairperson in the performance of her functions and perform such other functions as the local council or chairperson may determine

Who We Are

The department acts as a connecting link between the senior management and the council employees and provides motivation to the work force making them realize the goals of the FCC.

Deputy Chief Administrator | Bangali Marah

The Deputy Chief Administrator (DCA) is responsible to the Local Council Chief Administration, assists the Local Council Chief Administration in the day-to-day administration of the Local Council. The DCA assists the Local Council Chief Administrator in the preparation of the Local Council Budget in consultation with the treasurer and Head of Departments; the DCA performs any other duties that may be assigned by the Local Council Chief Administrator.
